Reception Schedule, Menu, and Details

It’s hard to believe the celebration is only two months away! We will be sharing a series of updates to fill you in on what to expect the day of the main event and plans for other days if you want to join in for those as well.

Schedule

3pm - Guest arrival (11640 Humbug Rd Ellison Bay)

We will have snacks, drinks, yard games, and an inflatable obstacle course set up for the kids

5pm - Dinner service (Son of Skaliwags/Purple Yum)

This will be very casual- grab some plates and find a seat!

7pm - Band begins (Bluewater Kings)

11pm - Band concludes

Food and Drinks

We will have snacks available throughout the event in addition to the main meal. We also plan to have pizzas brought in later in the night. There will be beer on tap, canned cocktails, and plenty of non-alcoholic beverages as well.

Dinner

~We are so excited to have Chef Marshall cooking for us from Son of Skaliwags in Algoma~

  • Mini crab cakes with she crab bisque topping

  • Low Country Boil with shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, and asparagus

  • Cold seasonal veggie plate with whipped goat cheese

  • Smoked beef tenderloin served with black garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal warm vegetables

We will also have a Filipino food truck, Purple Yum, making some amazing desserts!

For the kids, we will have chicken tenders with mac and cheese or something similar from a local restaurant.

Miscellaneous Details

This is a casual party, so wear what you are most comfortable in! Feel free to dress up or dress down. We will be outside and in a hoop building that is covered but not air-conditioned. There is plenty of space for parking on the property, and we will share a map of that closer to the event.
